For Christmas I got two gerbils .They were called dot and dash because
of Morse code which is written in dots and dashes .They are so fun to ply with, apart from the fact they pee a lot. Surprisingly, the cat did not care.we gave them a toilet paper tube and they love it. they crawl in it and when you pick it up they stick their heads out to see the view.
Dot is a girl gerbil and loves to groom herself.Dash is fast and is very curios.
These are grate pets and if you have ant advice for me to take care of them please leave a comment.

Hi Billy,
When I had gerbils as a kid I would put a piece of burlap fabric (like a potato sack, you know the rough stuff made out of twine) and the gerbils would chew it up and shred it into a nest.
give it a try.
